Tigers vs. twins Game Thread August 13

Not that it matters much since Tigers can't take advantage of anything but the Jays pull it out 3-2 in 11. The entire offense has their head really far up there ass tonight.

Not watching the rest, hope I miss a great comeback, but it's too hard to watch right now.

I saw someone post on this forum that Leyland never gives away games. Letting Coke pitch to a RH hitter with two on in a close game is as good as giving a game away.

And yet we were already losing.

And if it stays the same, Leyland/Coke won't be the reason we lost.

It will again, be because we could not do shit against a terrible pitcher, and our starting pitcher was trash.

Yeah, I'm sure most managers put up a "white flag" down 3-1.

Don't matter. Leyland made a dumb ass decision and that's throwing away games. Ask anybody.

Yeah, our offense is piss poor tonight, but keeping Coke in vs a righty is giving up 100%. It's fn lazy, stupid and unacceptable.

Yeah 3-1 is nothing....But 5-1 and now 8-1...Opps Jim the game is over...

Yup Coke should have been Vapor Snag-ed as soon as a RHB was walking to the dish... Jim could have possible fizzled a Rancor...

Of course Coke should NEVER have been left in there. WE all know this, Leyand DOESN'T.

What's the excuse for leaving him in there? "He had a gut feeling", "he wants to save the BP". What now, Jim, you fn putz??

You just can't make mistakes like leaving Coke in verses a Right handed batter.. But it happens over and over again..
