Tigers vs. twins Game Thread August 13

I'd say stick a fork in this team, but that would be a little bit of an overreaction.

I hope Schlereth can come back and be at least halfway decent...I'm so tired of this shit-face...

Jim Leyland, Phil coke can not get right handed hitters out their hitting like .400 off him FFS! get a clue dude!

i hope he doesnt come back, schlereth is worse than coke. he's hittable AND has control problems. coke at least doesnt walk a ton of people.

this team is a fucking joke. we're hacking away at a pitcher who walks nearly 7 per 9 and getting 2-hit by this fucker. this is fucking pathetic.

leyland plays small-ass sample sizes for his hitters vs pitchers, but ignores platoon splits when it matters (ie, coke cant get righties out to fucking save his life).

oh good for you delmon, first pitch ground ball to second.

Boesch must have been threatened with a cattle prod, he took another first pitch strike,
strike two, f'n ump, and there's the Boesch we all know and love, swings and misses a down and in slider 10 inches off the ground,

I saw someone post on this forum that Leyland never gives away games. Letting Coke pitch to a RH hitter with two on in a close game is as good as giving a game away.

Damn right it is, but somehow it will be defended by the Leyland apologists.
