Considering Young was barely out (the poster who said he was out by a county mile is way off), I'd say yes, he makes it standing up.

Young was out by 2 feet, very close play, without a good throw he's safe.

Lamont was right to send him.

You need to watch it again...Ball was in the catchers glove and DY was still 10 feet from home plate.... Only reason he was out by only 2 feet was because the ball was in front of home plate and the catcher had to swing back... Yes DY's great avoidance of the tag was the only reason he almost made it..

So lets recap... A faster player makes it easy and DY should not have been looking the whole time and concentrate his little legs moving... You guys just can't stand it when Bob is right... Fuck this board...

I'm a bit biased and Cabrera would get my vote too if I had one.

The kid trout is having a monster season as well, leading in certain stats, and gets all the slurp/hype from espn/fox/mlbnetwork. Cabrera gets some media praise, but alot of it as ho-hum, Cabrera is great, yeah we know, what's new...
