Tigers vs. twins Game Thread August 15

Why is it that every fan knows that Jackson isn't a lead off hitter, but Leyland will ride him for the whole season in a spot he doesn't belong in. Just about anyone is better there, I mean the guy is batting .242, has a .305 OBP and is on pace for 170+ Ks, wtf??? I know he has some speed, but what about him says lead off hitter given these stats? His glove proves he belongs in the lineup, but just about anyone on the team would be better for us leading off.

DD should have trade for Bourn at the deadline... I really do not think Atlanta gave up to much for him...

Jackson is a perfect number 9 hittter.... Great defense and some hits every now and then...

i've decided I'm going to try not getting to pissed anymore becuase if you really think about it we should be used to this by now and expect it. And besides does anyone really think they'll be getting far in the post season IF they make it to the post season, hell I don't, the offense is to slow and inconsistent and smokes gives too many games away with boneheaded lineups and hunches. I just want to see them win the damn div for once is all, too much to ask for I guess.
