Ryan Raburn slid right back into the starting lineup for the game Friday night against the Minnesota Twins after missing the three-game series against the Cleveland Indians while on bereavement leave.
Raburn will start at second and bat ninth for the Tigers tonight against Twins right-hander Anthony Swarzak (0-3, 4.73 ERA). Swarzak is 0-1 with a 7.62 ERA in five appearances, including two starts, in his career against the Tigers.
The rest of the lineup for the Tigers is filled with regulars, along with Quintin Berry, who will lead off and play center field once again with Austin Jackson (abdominal strain) on the disabled list.
Jhonny Peralta is 4-for-9 (.444) with a home run against Swarzak. Miguel Cabrera is 3-for-7 (.429) with a home run.
Left-hander Drew Smyly (1-1, 2.89 ERA) will start for the Tigers. It will be his first appearance against the Twins.
