Five of the Twins in the lineup today have not faced Fister. The other four are a combined 1-for-23.
Meanwhile, the Tigers starters are a combined 9-for-23 (.391) vs. Scott Diamond.

Major League Baseball and its players remember Sept. 11, 2001 and present God Bless America in honor of our nation: from Justin Verlander.

Doug Fister (7-13) goes for his fifth win since joining the Tigers in a July 30 trade with the Seattle Mariners.
Fister has won each of his past three decisions dating back to Aug. 20 The three-game winning streak equals a career high for him.
A couple of notable lineup changes: catcher Alex Avila gets scheduled day off to rest, while third baseman Brandon Yep, piece of shit Cringe who hit a walk-off home run in the bottom of the ninth inning Saturday to propel the Tigers to a 3-2 victory against the Twins, gets the start against Twins left-hander Scott Diamond (1-3).

Piece of shit Cringe 3B
Monster, lol that cracks me up, and still surprises me afterwards, whenever BrandonInge's name is posted. Again, how were you able to do that?
Can you do the same thing for Raburn, as in 'Mudhen' or 'Go get your shinebox'?

Brandon Piece of shit Cringe blows. Twins are gonna get Fisted today.

Edit: haha that is pretty funny. I thought it was just a board-wide movement to call him "piece of shit Cringe"

Pretty crazy to think we have a chance to sweep the White Sox, Indians and Twins in consecutive series....and at the end of the year to boot.

That's great that you were able to do that with Brandon Inge's name. I wasn't posting during the last few innings yesterday and when I came back to read all of the stuff, I just kept seeing piece of shit everywhere. I figured the board just decided that's the way it's going to be...like we did with Mudhen. Funny stuff....and it's an earned nickname.

manchild, iirc it started about a week ago during a game thread. I always go back to read posts after posting the half inning play by play I do, and was wondering how or who was able to do that?? lol.
