I get home and sit down at my computer and nobody is posting in a game where our Tigers are winning 10-0 in the 4th?

I just came on to post hooray!

I?m busy; I?m gonna have to follow this one checking in from time to time with Siri.

don't get too excited yet. Tigers already gave up 5 runs in the bottom of the 4th and there are still no outs

Got MLB game day on the phone while I create art in photoshop

Geezus 10 to 0 and now 10 to 6,

Peralta got lit up almost as bad as happ,

Tigers need to Win this getaway day game,

Through Sunday, the Detroit Tigers are tied for 1st place in the AL with 61 stolen bases. ll part of A. J. Hinch's strategy to put more pressure on the opponent and to take advantage of small openings to help manufacture runs in different ways.

The Tigers have already surpassed the total stolen base records set in previous years. And they have a 79% success rate in stealing.

With Brad Ausmus, stolen bases had to be approved by him in advance. Remember when Rajai Davis was benched for a success SB because he didn't clear it with Brad first? Stealing under Hinch is a team effort. Players get extensive training to help them determine when to run.

Totally Tigers

I think a lot of it also has something to do with the makeup of the team. It seems like the teams of the past have been made up of a bunch of slow, unathletic, players that rely on the long ball. This team is made up of more athletic players at almost every position.

Ericson admits to adjusting ventilation system.
espn

The Twins used to adjust the ventilation system against the opposition at the Homer Hanky Dome, perhaps some shenanigans are now being used to barely push Tigers flies to left foul!

More great contact from Eric Haase. He is in the top-15 in barrel rate now:

Ranked 13th in percentage of plate appearances resulting in barrels (10.5).

Ranked 12th in percentage of batted balls that are barrels (17.3).

American League rookies since June 1. Context: min. 100 PA.

Tigers OF Akil Baddoo
.299/.356/.483, 130 wRC+
1.1 fWAR ranks 34th in AL

Rangers OF Adolis Garcia
.222/.276/.380, 80 wRC+
0.2 fWAR ranks 105th in AL

Detroit Tigers: Akil Baddoo and Eric Haase keep marching towards history.

The eight runs scored by Detroit in the 4th inning are the most they've scored in an inning since plating nine in the 5th inning on 4/25/2017 vs. Seattle.

Oh Geezus this is f'n ridiculous, except that maybe the bullpen is maxed out from pitching every day. At this rate 20 runs is needed to win a game.

Haase gets a bases loaded double and 3 runs score,

Every Tigers starter has at least one hit,

Tigers lead 16 to 12,

Following the game on my handheld. When I first check in the Tigers were up 10 nothing. Then I checked in five minutes ago and it was 13 to 12. Now it?s 16 to 12. Pretty wild game.
