Tigers vs. whitesox Game Thread July 20

BB really starting to rack up the XBH's...with the trade deadline looming...

Seems like he only hits when his job is in jeopardy...

Tigers 2nd inning,

Fielder takes a fastball outside, strike call, breaking ball strike call, curve swings and misses, shit,

Young takes the first pitch for a strike again, curve is a strike call, reaches for a slider and grounds it foul, fouled back, swings and misses a curve,

5 strikeouts in a row wtf??

Boesch takes a curve away, chases a low curve, fouls it back, fly to deep right drops in and Boesch is on second with a double,

Avila takes a curve off the corner asshole aj pulls the pitch in and ump doesn't buy it, fly to right, just missed it,

peavy 28 pitches,

If Boesch is really going on a hot streak I dunno how I feel about it....I'm torn between "Thank god for some corner OF production/trade bait" and "About fucking time Delmon jr.".

Verlander pitching 3rd inning,

ramirez curve strike call, fastball fouled back, curve low is lined to left single,

beckham fastball inside, pop fly to right Boesch has it,

de aza changeup outside, throws to first, now JV throws to first and ramirez takes off and beats the throw to second, where the F was that changeup ump, strike call, swings and misses a fastball, fastball fouled back, curve low check swing full count, pitch is up and a fly to right and it's a homerun, you m'thfka,

fuyoukilis strikes out looking sit down, chronic whiner,

donkeydung grounder to first,

JV with 47 pitches, one bad pitch,

2 - 0.

This is the Jake Peavy we know and love. Time for the bats to come alive.
