Tigers vs. whitesox Game Thread July 22

Nice work boys!!!!!!!

I was at holland beach listen to the game on the radio and my better feed was the station out of Chicago and talk about a couple of whinny announcers... Farmer and Jackson were making up all kinds of excuses... LOL...

Classy ;-)

Awesome series.

Cabrera and Boesch both huge, plus pitching was great.

Too bad Youkilis didn't go 0-12 though.

hawk harrelson said "we didn't even face any good pitchers this series, we beat ourselves". F him.

Valverde's back was a little tight today, per post game with Benoit.

Leyland also confirmed Valverde's back was tight. First time the White Sox were swept this year.

Cabrera's 300th: When Hank Aaron was that age, he had 309 home runs, according to STATS. Barry Bonds had 222 by that age.

So perspective, that's a lot of bombs at his age.

Man MC's homer was a shot....Just saw the replay... I yelled and at the beach when he hit it and scared my wife and daughter..

@tigers used my recap headline. :) "Tigers take the lumber to Humber."

Tigers Victory Shot!

I think Frank Thomas said it was the longest HR he has seen at Comerica. Bang!!

Cabrera is the Best Tigers Hitter in my near 60 years of watching.

That is one hell of an awesome statement. It is pretty awesome to have the opportunity to watch Miggy and JV, and that statement definitely helps put it into perspective for me.

Can't believe we swept them, and thanks for putting up a link to that stream again today. It is a little better than watching the gamecast lol.
