Tigers vs. whitesox Game Thread July 22

some real good pitching this series and last...they keep that up and we run away with the central.

Like Leyland says...there's no secret to winning. Pitch well, hit some homers and get some clutch hits and we'll start winning games.

Mi_Thumb, Thanks for posting the Gameday.

Listening to the game on XM on the ride home, damn when Berry hit one out I thought great, but them Miguel busted it out and Boesch with his, and then Miguel with his second of the game and as posted, his 300th.

Miguel Cabrera homered for the 2nd time in the game off Philip Humber for his 300th career HR. He has 1 3-HR game in his career. and becomes only the 14th ball player to reach 300 before the age of 30. From what I can see the 11th youngest.
Cabrera now has 15 multi-homer games since joining the Tigers in 2008, tied with Jose Bautista for 2nd-most in AL.
We ARE witnessing Greatness with Cabrera's combination of Power and Average.
Cabrera is the Best Tigers Hitter in my near 60 years of watching.

Damnit, should have pulled him after the 5th.

Let him finish strong with confidence...or throw him back out for the heart of the order.

SMH

Well that was a decent outing anyway, and leaving with a 3 run lead and no runners on, and the bullpen has been pitching pretty well.

At least he gave us some decent innings today and he's out of the ballgame.
