Tigers vs. whitesox Game Thread September 13

The Tigers 21-4 record is tied for the their best ever in 25 games. They most recently did it in 1984. That team went 35-5 to start season.
11 in a row! That is the fourth longest winning streak in Tigers history. The longest was 14 in 1909 and 1934. They won 13 in 1927.

I may get smacked for this a bit, but i almost hope we lose a few games in a row somewhere here. Maybe against the A's. I love that we're hot right now, but I'd like to see us cool down and then become steady again heading into the playoffs.

BTW anyone remember when we were fighting to stay above .500? WOW

Nah, although you'll never see me rooting for a loss, I definitely get where you're coming from.

Haha, a few years a go my brother worked as a job supervisor for a landscaping company, and did the one sons house in Bloomfield Hills.

Not the blind one, or the ugly sister, but the other son, said his house was huge, has Bently, Ferrari, fullsized basketball and tennis courts etc.

And no bullshit, he said the guy was sitting by his pool in cutoff jean shorts and a white wife-beater undershirt.

Now I ain't no fortune teller but I'm pretty sure you'll get what you hope for. I highly doubt the Tigers will go undefeated between now and the end of the regular season...

Go Tigers!!!
