Al Al actually has better numbers against lefties than Coke does. Lefties bat .215 against Coke with 2 homers. Lefties bat .176 against Al Al and prior to Cano, he had not given up a homer all year long to anyone.

This bothered me as much as the game. and I'm not singling out anyone here. But it seemed that there was more arguing and swearing at each other, and baiting of other guys here in this game thread that just didn't make sense to me.
We have posted with each other for a long time, I don't get it.

Was it because the stakes were higher with the playoffs and tensions and tempers were shorter? or a few just wanted to bust balls of those who are more passionate than others during a Tigers game that turned into a shit game.
everyone here is better than that.

5 years to get in the playoffs and this game sucked, yeah it's one game and hope they can do better starting Sunday.

Well the logical choice was Coke if you were willing to possibly give up another run(s) just to try to get out of the inning.

If you're looking to strand with no chance at more runs, you need a strikeout, and Al Al is the best option on the whole team outside of Verlander for that.

No trolls to deal with on an all Tigers fans and isolated board, I mentioned/warned in a thread in mid-August that stuff like this would happen once it became clear that the new and more "robust" ESPN forum was not gonna work out, and most, if not all of us had moved over here.
