Great weekend-ing for Detroit yet again, despite the mess that was the start of this ALDS!!

Thank the good Lord. I didn't start drinking till the 8th inning. I was feeling pretty good by the time Velverde got the final out!!

I haven't cursed so much at the TV in a very long time.

Not good for my blood pressure.

Still a good win though.

What a scary game. I was pissed at Valverde and my housemate just kept asking me questions, and he was munching on cereal. It took everything I had not to go crazy during that 20 minute outing by Valverde.

It feels really good to split and I am much more at peace...jeez.

If they had blown it, there is no way I could have studied and done homework tonight haha. It is crazy how much sports affects me.

Great day for Detroit!

Lions pull the rug out from under the Cowgirls, and the Tigers retake home field advantage in the ALDS.

And all the people who were so worried about Scherzer in Yankee Stadium.....

These gametimes should be illegal. NY and DET are both EST. I know its for a national audience, but it is not fair to the core fanbase of each club. Games should not start after 7:30 in the postseason! (I'd say 8, but I am compensating for the extra TV commercial time).
