Tigers @ White Sox Game #82 July 7th 2022

Anderson 1 out single after getting ahead of him with a 1-2 count.
Soto walks winning run to the plate .

If we ever get good he just can?t be the closer in playoff games.

1-2 pitch

Fuck you soto

Maybe Spencer should have got to it but you just can?t throw that pitch.
Way to good of a pitch on 1-2. Any close to off the plate enough.

Webvideo Highlights of the Tigers Win over the white sox.

Brieske set the tone early and brought his A-game in his 14th career start. He retired the first seven batters he faced -- four via strikeout -- and 15 of the first 16 White Sox hitters. That strong start led to the rookie carrying a no-hitter into the sixth inning, when Josh Harrison broke it up with a single to left field.
The right-hander gave up just two hits, one walk and four strikeouts across 6 1/3 innings. The win marked his fifth career quality start and second in as many starts for the Tigers.

Tigers 2 - White Sox 1: Brieske dazzles, B?ez homers.
Beau Brieske pitched into the seventh and didn?t even give up a hit until the sixth.
BYBTB

Beau Brieske made his fourteenth start tonight, and if you predicted last year at this time that he would have made 14 starts in the big leagues before the All-Star Break, then you?d better register your crystal ball with the local authorities as a lethal weapon.
Brieske?s stats so far have been so-so, but get this: as he goes through a batting order a second or third time, his OPS-against gets progressively better: .824 the first time, .747 the second, and a scant .565 the third time through.

I took my son to his first Tigers game this year. It's the first game I've been to since 2017.

It was this game.

I wanted to leave after the 8th but he talked me into staying. We watched Riley Green walk it off. Hell of a memory!!!

I always stay to the end no matter what, once saw the tigers try to come back from 11 -1 in the 9th still lost 11-8 but it was interesting, I could hear the players talking on the field from the stands there were so few people left it was weird.

Miguel Cabrera is 3 for 16 in All-Star Game at-bats. He has one homer. It came in 2014 off Adam Wainwright. In case anyone wondered
