Ok, we have all had our fun re: last week's game, I'm now getting ready for the upcoming game vs Vikes.

So, first question I have is what are current injury sits for Stafford and Slay. I never heard anything specific regarding either, not that we ever get good info on injuries.

Despite the setback vs SD, Vikes fared even worse so I still think Lions get the win this week.

Stafford is supposedly fine. Got rid of the arm sleeve today, should be 100%.
Slay tried to practice today, left the field with a trainer and didn't come back.

Was hoping for better re Slay...but if Lawson steps in and does well, maybe the use him more and reduce the time Grampa Mathis is on the field.

That fucking sucks.......Minn WR's are fast. Hopefully the next 72 hours will heal whatever is ailing #23. We need him.

I also expect adjustments to be made Sunday. I am not happy with the game plan OR execution of it against SD.

If adjustments are made.....to me.......its easier to write of the SD game as a fluke. Unfortunately, the 17 game history of this coaching staff is to stay the course and continue trying to grind out wins.

I wish Caldwell could get just a bit of Belicheat in him.......step on peoples throats every once in a while. Let up the last two minutes.......not two quarters!

I honestly don't think Caldwell will ever change; however, I do think the Lions will win a playoff game with him as coach, but I'm not convinced they will win a SB or even NFC CG with him. Unfortunately that will likely be enough to keep him around instead of them getting a coach who could bring them a SB victory. Still, he does have a ring, so it isn't impossible...just gonna have to ride it out.

Home opener for MN after laying an egg out in SF. They will be motivated. My guess is it will be a 3 point game.

I agree. Not to be dramatic but this is pretty much a must win game if we have any shot of getting to 10 wins and making the playoffs. Denver, Seattle and then Arizona are next.

that is why the NFL is so great. One loss is like a 10 game losing streak in baseball. I had the Lions losing in SD prior to the season. I just didn't think they would look so bad doing it. @ MN was a 50/50 game for me...MN losing the way they did makes it more difficult IMO

Even at 2-3 lions could go 8-3 or 9-2 to finish season. They are that good

I had them starting 1-1 too

Besides the Chiefs and Packers on the road, after the Cardinals game the schedule looks pretty winnable.

St Louis' dline will murder our oline....

every game is losable until we figure out how to cover a 2 yard crossing route.

We'll finish 9-2 or 8-3

3-2 start and 8-3 finish (lose at Pack, at Stl and one other game)

I thought missing Levy was no big deal? Lions win easy without him remember...

Mathis, Tulloch and Ihedigbo had a fluke bad game. It happens. AFC road loss. No big deal.

Beat Minnesota and move into first in division when Packers lose to Seattle

They could easily be 2-3 after 5 games.

Last 11 games

vs Bears W 90%
vs MN W 70%
KC W 55%
@ GB L 80%
vs Oak W 90%
vs Philly W 60%
vs GB 50%
@ Rams L 60%
@ NO L 55%
vs SF W 60%
@ Bears W 51%

2-3 they finish 9-2

Lions can and should beat everyone on the schedule. They are the more talented team almost every week. Even talent with Seattle and GB (but GB lacks a defense)

They will NOT finish 9-2.
