They will NOT finish 9-2.
They have the talent too for sure. They are more talented than every team in 9 of the last 11 games (6 home, 1 neutral, 4 away). Two are even (GB).
3-2 start and 9-2 finish would be 12-4.
If they go 8-3 then 11-5.

this is where we disagree. I don't think they have more talent than 9 of 11.
I'm not saying the talent isn't close by the other teams. This is the NFL. But Detroit has a little more if you look across the board.
Detroit is a very complete team and does have depth. We need about most of 4 starters back though because your depth shouldn't be THIS tested Week 1.
Tulloch, Ihedigbo and nickel backs we handled along with Waddle.
We'll see if we can handle Levy injury (Tulloch and Mathis can play better)
I don't know if we could handle a Slay injury. Doesn't seem long term at least.
You have to maximize that talent with coaching. We're here paying Calvin Johnson $9m per catch.
I read Slay started some position drills yesterday then left practice with a trainer.
Remember we were healthy last year too and still couldn't do shit. Especially in the secondary. Oooops...slay gone already means who plays? Scrub #1 or Scrub #2? Pick a scrub and put him next to the oldest corner in football....we'll see how that goes over.
We had a great defense last year even with several injuries. I don't know what you are talking about. But you're a hater so it's to be expected.
Slay AND Carter are hurt.
We'll see what Wilson or Lawson do on the outside if needed.
We were healthy...and won nothing. no division title, no playoff game. nothing. That's what im talking about.
Ngata also didn't practice today with a shoulder injury.
