Titus arrested 2x in one day

Jumped the fence to boost his impounded car, still can't admit his mistakes.

Charles Rogers 2.0. Jeez, seriously this kid was really good as a rookie, playing behind two veteran receivers and two really good TE options. Could have been the best WR trio in the league and he couldn't grow up.

He seemed fine his rookie year. He played well and many places had him listed as a possible break out star. What a complete waste. Jail may be what he needs though.

Greatest cut Mayhew has made. So long Titus. Enjoy your terrible life and thanks for some production in 2011 and helping us beat the Seachickens.

In his defense, Moreno Valley is one of the biggest shit holes I've ever seen. I'd be in a hurry to get out too.

I'm really starting to wonder whether or not he was severely concussed multiple times at the end of his rookie year. Something seems to have triggered a major downward spiral.

Maybe this is just his true persona, but if something happened to trigger it, that would be pretty sad but at least it would be more understandable than the apparent fucked up headcase he is presenting himself to be.

At this point he would need to date Lindsey Lohan in a last ditch attempt to be next to someone who can make him look "normal".

is it safe to say that mayhew cant gauge character worth a darn. If it was just titus then thats one thing....but i think weve been close to the league lead in arrests for a couple years now. titus and suh both have lost their minds on and off the field. Rampid drug use...sure i get that like 90 % of the ppl in the nfl use drugs.....but 90% of the ppl in the nfl dont get caught doing stupid shit while theyre on drugs like our guys do.

It had to be done cause he sucked so bad last year.....but its slightly scary that "the strength of our team" is now in the hands of fairley and suh and we had to get rid of kvb. We will be counting on ansah , taylor and jason jones a lot this year....suh and fairley need to step into a leadership role and stop being a bunch of knuckleheads.

titus, leshoure, crappy tackle guy, kickalicious, fairley, etc etc etc

I'd be interested to hear some other GM's take on Titus Young before he was drafted. I'd bet most knew he had character issues and was likely a total nutcase.

Nutcase? Not a chance or he wouldnt have bern drafted...

Word was Titus was a diva and had some problems with his coaches in college but the talent was there. Figured getting drafted and being teamed up with the freakiest of the freaks (CJ) would straighten his ass up. Oops.....Young had the world by the balls and could have probably averaged 50-60 catches, 7-800 yards and probably 7-8 TDs a year as a solid #2. He is the definition of a fn retard....i hope he never plays another down again and my money says he dont....fk him.

It could be many things. My best guess is substance abuse. I base this on what the media has reported and his actions on Twitter. The Rams were gonna give him a shot and he ran his mouth on twitter, Fisher nipped that one in the butt. No doubt he has the talent. His best case scenario now is to admit his malfunction publically and seek help for it privately. I really hope he turns it around because I hate to see young men fail when it is there for the taking. He obviously needs some direction and Jim Brown could help him.

Jim Brown might learn something from Titus Young #halloffame. You reap what you sow, so I don't feel bad for him, his kid maybe but not him.

I honestly think the guy is mentally ill. I don't say that jokingly either. He's not "right in the head" and that could be for any number of reasons.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I genuinely feel bad for the guy... he really has NO people in his life to lead him in the right direction... he needs a positive influence in his life.

he had everything in the palm of his hands and he pissed it away. He was given talent and skill and pissed that away too. He was given millions of dollars that he'll piss away. I dont feel bad....you cant be much dumber than that. And for what?...why?...cause you want to catch the ball more?

A couple weeks ago the SVP show had Terrance Gannaway on....they NFL rb who worked all summer at jimmy johns. Titus needs someone to bring him back down to earth?....go talk to that guy who talked about earning your money no matter how much it is. Talked about principles and work ethic. I hear that guy talk and it makes me care less if people like titus young get pissed on.

I'm sure he had many people that tried to point him in the right direction throughout his life. Coaches in high school, college and in the NFL. Even other players. I don't feel bad for him.

Several of his coaches have tried to help him and they all say he has lost his mind. He actually believes in his head he is better than Calvin. Anyone who has tried to talk to him and step in he has pushed away. His college coach has said he has tried and tried to talk to him but he wont listen.
