To make the playoffs...

I see us going 9-7, at best. Suh can walk, dangle CJ in trade offers in the offseason, draft a QB that will be ready to step in at the beginning of 2016. The big 3 are overrated and overpaid

I honestly don't have an issue with them getting rid of the big three. Yes, there would be tons of dead money, but that's better than dead weight. Stafford continues to get worse, CJ is getting older and more injury prone trying to help Stafford who hangs him out to dry with most targets, and Suh is not 11 guys.

Most of us want out from those contracts.

The difference between cj's playing or being traded is a few hundred thousands, Suh has a base amount of just under $4M that would go away, actually we would save over $3M if there gone

I hope all the people sucking off Linehan have watched this game. My 2 year old son could be an offensive coordinator with this offensive line.

So we have one of the best offensive lines when Linehan is here, he leaves to Dallas and Dallas has one of the best offensive lines.

Don't think it is a 1 to 1 correlation, but there has to be something there.

How can this be?
We owned the tiebreaker with Green Bay after week 11? Tiebreaker!!

Insert Jim Mora coaching Indy/playoff rant here.

Just hoping they somehow shake out of it and beat the Bears on Turkey Day. I don't see the offense doing enough to win and Cutler will not be generous like he has been.

The question becomes to what degree are things coming apart in the minds of the players. When they start doing cheapshots like Dom did, gotta figure it is in their heads that they are the SOL. Shame the new coaches have to try being therapists for their mental instabilities that stem from prior coaching ineptitude. They have enough ineptitude of their own doing to overcome without tacking on more.

Win 3 or 4(of next four) and beat GB and they lose one (Pats).

Win 4 and have GB lose to Pats and Bucs or Falcons. We lose at GB. Week 17 won't matter due to conference record if they lose to Falcons or Bucs. Both would be 11-5 with split and 5-1 division record.

Win 3 and get the wildcard at 10-6 with Seattle/Phi/Dallas/Zona/SF beating up on each other. We'll need conference record and hope it's not Zona falling with the same record as we do (lose head to head).

With the way this team is playing...we should be very worried about the Bears game this week.

They could blow any of the home games. They still can lose one but just have to beat GB then.

Time to take care of business at home. We won't play like this against weaker teams. Pats/Cards are legit.

Lions got into Pats territory six times. I don't expect 3 endzone drops again.

Beating GB on the last game of the season...in GB...I don't see that happening.

I think NE is legit, AZ is a playoff contender but not on the same level as NE. The Lions are a rung or two below both of them.

Arizona defense is legit. Especially in Arizona. These were the two bonus games. the real season begins now. Win 3 of the next four, or all four.

go Pats, and Falcons or Bucs to make Week 17 meaningless.

I think we will look back at the Arizona and Buffalo games and wonder what could have been.

I honestly don't care if we make the playoffs or not. I want to see signs of life on offense. What good is a playoff game if we get a repeat of yesterday?

I've always thought that Stafford would be OK. I don't think that anymore. It's time to look for a new QB. The way his contract is structured he will be here next year. Next year is make or break. This year would be make or break except he will cost us 10 million more to cut him than keep him. We can save 11 million or so in 2016 if we cut him then.

So...they played 2 "bonus" games and now the "real season" begins? If the Lions continue to play like they have been over their past 5 games they will be lucky to go 2-2 over their next 4 games. Even if they do go 3-1 over their next 4 games...I see them losing their last two games on the road in what will likely be cold weather. Stafford is too soft to win in Chicago and GB in late December.

Stafford won in Chicago last year. Bears are way worse. We are better.

One at a time. Lions win on Thanksgiving.

3 wins can get us in too or in a big game against GB at least if they lose to Pats (or anyone).

I have a feeling the Cardinals game is going to haunt us. Both finish 11-5, they win tiebreaker, we stay home. I feel winner of 49ers/Seahawks game takes the west.

Cardinals are not very good with Stanton.

Yeah I can see a Cards collapse. Seattle still has to go to Arizona though. Cards lose to San Fran, Seattle helps. But they would still need two, maybe three more losses.

Giants/Redskins almost helped us.

at San Fran/Seattle, at St Louis could all beat Cards. Then it's up to at Atlanta and Chiefs in Arizona to really drop them to 10-6 or 9-7. Go Atlanta.

But Mike Smith is determined to make sure the Falcons lose as many games as possible. Not sure why.
