Even with your skepticism, you should know that is not a Marian Apparition. A modern Apparition is one that is apparently occurring in Medjugore. It has not yet been approved by the Church. Every Apparition is "subject to scrutiny" as you probably know, and not all are approved. The Church is still evaluating Medjugore.

Well if he had been possessed by Satan at the time of the incident I don't know that it matters what God he was reading about in any book whether it was the Bible or the Torah or the Koran.

When you're being possessed by Satan, it follows that you're not in control of your own actions.

When your actions would have otherwise been directed by the Bible or the Torah or the Koran-you're out of control of your actions in any of those cases.

You're under the control of Satan, and let's face it, Satan is always behaving badly.
