Today's example of Christians behaving badly

Another Christian Republitard assuming Fox News is real life and behaving accordingly?
A Kansas House member was arrested for possible misdemeanor battery in what authorities said Friday was an incident involving a student while he was substitute teaching at a public school in his hometown.

Republican Rep. Mark Samsel was booked Thursday into the local county jail and released on a $1,000 bond. His arrest came after a student reported an incident Wednesday at school in his hometown of Wellsville...

A parent of Wellsville students provided The Associated Press with videos she said were shot by students. One shows a noisy class, with Samsel grabbing a boy, pushing him against a wall and telling him, ?I could put the wrath of God on you right now,? before the boy breaks free and runs away, yelling.
...

The Kansas City Star reported that it had seen videos recorded by students that showed Samsel talking about suicide, sex, masturbation, God and the Bible.
He's claiming it was all an act:
Roberts also shared a Snapchat post from Samsel saying the incident was ?all planned,? saying he wanted to ?SEND A MESSAGE about art, mental health, teenage suicide, how we treat our educators and one another.?

?To who? Parents,? he posted. ?Very simple - EXACTLY what God planned. The kids were in on it.?

(Franklin Co. Sheriff) Richards said he didn?t know about the Snapchat post and added, ?There was nothing staged about our investigation ? I can tell you that.?

The evil atheist socialist state of Kansas is sending their jackboot stormtroopers after Samsel because he dared to inject Christianity into their liberal fascist socialist gay Chicom state brainwashing scheme, aka "public school."

Right? I mean, WAKE UP PEOPLE.

This is a fun one: Christians on boat harass family on boat because that family was flying a Pride flag; then the Christians' boat blows up (LINK), and the gay family kindly rescues them from the water as they scream hysterically and shit themselves.

(also reported in Newsweek)

Yes, they were Christians. What else would fat white people in Eastern Washington who hate gay people be?

Just look up ?Abortion Spending Bill? online and you?ll be overwhelmed, because many who supported the bill claim to be Christians.

Yeah, what the hell? REAL Christians force unwed and single mothers to have children, then disappear, deny them charity or relief and push to cut social welfare programs those same mothers need and use so they can cut tax rates on the wealthy.

Yeah, what the hell? REAL Christians force unwed and single mothers to have children ?

Christians support and advocate the sanctity of life from conception.

? then disappear, deny them charity or relief and push to cut social welfare programs those same mothers need and use so they can cut tax rates on the wealthy.

Christians don?t do that. Anyone can investigate that expectant mothers can get assistance on many levels, even after their children are born.

But those people who do as you claim at the least are not a party to exterminating that baby in the womb.

Two wrongs ?

There is noting more ironic than Christians telling other Christians that they're not Christians.

Seems very un-Christian like

I suppose you have point. So let me narrow the discussion to practicing and devout Catholics.

They don?t ?do that.?

And Christians who claim to be so need to examine their beliefs if they support and advocate abortion, because the Christ they claim to follow surely does not.

This comes off to me as a pretty sweeping judgmental stereotype.

I did a search engine search for ?Christian organizations supporting expectant mothers.?

Way more links than I?m going to bother to link to.

If a person wants to they can check for themselves.

Dozens and dozens and dozens of links.

Now, a young preggo who really doesn?t want an abortion and doesn?t have internet access could probably just walk into a church, like the Mamas and Papas did.

That?s been goin? on since that one German priest tacked that list on the door of that one church in Wittenberg back in 1517.

Yeah, I've heard that, and yet unwed single mothers are most likely people to be impoverished in this country, and their kids most likely to be hungry... plenty of articles on those.

so this charity that's supposedly widely available isn't doing the job.

doesn't sound like that welfare you're such a fan of is doing the job. Either way, using poverty to justify murder is about as depraved as you can get. the fact that you think advocating for the savage butchering of the most innocent and defenseless humans so they won't be poor is the moral high ground in this conversation is astounding.

If they had the kid instead of having a very accessible abortion, I guess they didn?t want an abortion.

Before they had the kid they could have walked into a church.

They still could.

Or a synagogue or a mosque.

Couldn?t hurt.

EDIT: All this said; the notion that as a society through our government is - I mean, on top of everything else we through federal government just passed $300 a month child tax rebate that most parents are eligible for - again, ON TOP of everything else available through federal, state and local programs.

C?mon, man.

Not everywhere in the country is CA... in many states there are hardly any remaining clinics that perform them, and the procedure itself is restricted by lots of regulations.

And if these single mom's don't file taxes or have an accountant, good luck getting that benefit. Our public benefits are stuck behind tons of red tape and other bullshit - intentionally - to make it as difficult as possible for people who need them to get them.

$3k per year per kid so $250/mo per kid and parents who don't make enough money to pay taxes are definitely eligible - and the credit is being prepaid so people are already getting the money, they don't have to wait to file a tax return.

Well, we?re talking about two different things. We?re talking about access to abortions, and we?re talking about economic support for women who chose life instead.

So I?m going to do a little speculation of my own. I would say that if I conducted a survey of women who have chosen life over abortion, the percentage who would answer ?because I didn?t have access to abortion? would be pretty much about zero.

The percentage of women who would answer ?because the idea of killing the little human being growing inside me was beyond reprehensible? would be right around 100.

I know virtually nothing about social relief services provided by various states; I don?t even know much about here in California, because I?ve never availed myself.

But if a woman who made the choice chose life, and is having a hard time making ends meet?maybe she should consider stopping into a church - that?s the lyric, not walked into a church like I posted a few posts ago - I don?t know whether it was Papa John or Papa Denny who sang it. Anyway, the guy in the story got what he went in there for - he got warm - and all he did was only pretend to pray. The preacher didn?t mind at all. He wanted the guy to stay.

So a person in such a situation as the unwed mother stopped into a church, she might get what she went in there for.

Or a synagogue. Or a mosque.

Couldn?t hurt.

Nothing to lose.

EDIT: It probably would have been Papa John who sang the lyric. I just looked it up, he?s the one who wrote the song.

I don't know, but I'd be surprised if Catholic charities didn't rank #1 with regard to supporting unwed mothers.

Maybe. Not talking about Christians by definition, but one's of Christ's common refrains was to point out the hypocrisy of people that paraded their religious devotion for attention.
