Players with 300+ HRs for one team.
Cybermetrics

With Judge closing in on 300 career HRs (he started the day with 294), I wondered how many Yankees had hit 300+ HRs (while they were with the Yankees--HRs with other teams don't count). There are six and that did not seem like very many. But that is more than any other team.

161 players have hit 300+ HRs. But many of those guys played with more than one team and so did not reach 300 with any one of them. There are exactly 60 guys who hit 300+ with just one team. Reggie Jackson hit the most career HRs (563) without hitting 300 for any one team.

After the Yankees, the Braves and Red Sox each have 5. The table below has all the guys who did this starting with the Yankees, with teams in order of who had the most. Once Judge gets to 300, the Yankees will be two ahead of anyone else and it looks like no other player is close to 300 HRs right now.

All data was from Stathead and Baseball Reference. The six teams with no player reaching 300 HRs are listed at the end.

The 'Coyote' is latest '68 hero to leave us.
