The '79 yearbook photo is an all-time classic and extremely prescient hinting that Tram and Lou would be the foundation of the Tigers for a long long time.

I admit, I was really disappointed by that '85 cover. They'd just won the World Series and they just had the drawing of the tiger.
I expected something like the iconic photo of Gibson with his arms up in game 5, or maybe Willie and Lance embracing after the WS win--something.
