Well they won't get anyone to trade for him. Only way it can happen is to cut him, and then the Lions still take a huge hit.

Mayhew should be fired for allowing those contracts. It was absolutely fiscally irresponsible.

I would dump Stafford and take the hit from his salary before dumping CJ. Or dump them both. If you are going to bite that bullet, make sure it is a high caliber and that there is zero chance of it leaving you alive.

Then, in the aftermath, start building a TEAM instead of a group of individuals.

Then ypu fucking cut him and take the 12MIL penalty. And don't be so sure that nobody would trade for him. I know he's getting older but he's better than this pathetic offense has made him look. Other teams know this.....

He could clearly get open against Patrick Peterson.....I'd say CJ is still top 10 in the NFL.
