I think a lot will depend on who they get in the draft/FA.

Not sure what draft projections will be yet, but assume Wemby/Whitmore/Miller slot in over Stewart/Wiseman, Scoot probably pushes Ivey to the bench.

This. He?s a decent defender off the bench, the Pistons don?t have many of those. Just needs to stay healthy.

I think drafting Miller at SF would be a better fit though.

Stewart is terrible. This team can't have him as a starter next year. Duren and Ivey aren't ready to be starters either but this is really good experience for them.

This off season they need to add one quality starter via free agency or trade. It doesn't have to be an all star but someone similar to the level of Bojan. I really don't care what position.

I don?t see how this team competes for a play-in spot next season like Weaver wants. Still too young/raw (incl. another high pick rookie), still have Casey, and there?s really no big FAs that are going to move the needle that much. Even without Casey, I don?t see any coach taking this team to the playoffs. At least 2 years away IMO.

they are only 11 games back of the play in right now. Get Cade back and add a Bojan level vet to the team and they could be in the hunt. Not very likely, but not out of the question.

I do agree 100% that they are a few years away from being a legit team. Maybe even more if the young guys don't develop.
