Trade Rumors Castellanos to Cubs, Greene to Braves - signs with the Reds now Phillies

Toms right about the fact Avila will be blamed regardless. Can't win. Ask for less you get less .. I'll take Boyd for 3 years over a prospect who is less talented for 6 years.

It makes zero sense to keep a player like Boyd through a rebuild. For every game Boyd pitches from here on out as a Tiger his value likely goes down and you run the risk of him having an injury and losing ALL of his value. See Michael Fulmer

Luke Voit to 10 day DL with sports hernia(out 6+ weeks). I think Nick could rake in the Bronx bandbox. Too bad he's never played 1B. Lol

Or he could get better. Or we could get trash back. Sure it's a risk but getting back nothing I'm not fond of.

Astros place Ryan Pressley on 10 day DL. All star setup guy. Boyd and Greene for Tucker. Damnit make it happen AA!! Lol

Sounds like the Rays were interested in Nick but Detroit wouldn't eat any of the 3m left on his contract. Ugh

depends on how much and what the Tigers would have received in return. If it was a bag of balls and the Tigers paying a good portion of the $3M...fuck the Rays!

I'm sure the level of prospect would depend on how much salary they paid. Guess they can just pay the entire 3 mil and get fucking nothing at the end of the season.

12:36pm: The Tigers are still insisting the Nats part with top prospect Carter Kieboom to move Greene, according to Morosi (Twitter link). It?s frankly difficult to imagine that asking price being met with the highly regarded Kieboom dominating Triple-A pitching at 21 years of age. That?s all the more true given that Kieboom could fit on the Nats? 2020 roster (if not the late-2019 roster) in a variety of ways.

Toss in a lower level pitching prospect to get it done

Pretty much thinking that the good GMs are not taking Al Avila all that serious. (sic) I mean the Tigers WP is about to slide below .300.

Nats just added two relievers...they are probably out on Green

If Greene and Castellanos are not moved it’s a fireable offense without question in my mind. I would literally move Castellanos for a bag of balls if necessary
