I'll give you a worst case example. Italy. On march 22 Italy was averaging 6k cases per day. The United states was averaging 6k cases per day. Italy is now averaging 200 new cases per day. The us is now averaging 70k new cases per day. See a fucking difference? Any at all?
Were the worst. I can literally compare us against ANYONE and our numbers will be shit. Nice job trump.
Deaths per infection:
Italy .14%
US. .037%
Since you didn’t provide any
sources - and I don’t blame you because when you provide sources they suck - I didn’t either. I did a search engine search and did the math. You can check my work if ya wanna.
Any more great examples?
Not that I’m defending Trump; he wasn’t great at the outset and seems no one else was either.
population of Italy 60mm
Population of US 330mm
And here's a study that shows as much as 1/3 of excess deaths are due to factors other than Corona - many of them potential victims of the shut down who were unable to get life saving treatment for their non-Corona illnesses. And let's not forget, included in the deaths attributed to Corona are all the misreported deaths so hospitals can collect an extra 20% on Medicare and Medicaid reimbursements. A skeptic might question whether even 2/3rds of the excess deaths is accurate. Personally, I don't know anyone who has died of Corona, the closest for me is my friend's dad who "died of Corona" when he fell and hit his head and suffered serious brain trauma 2 months after being treated, released and testing negative for Corona.
