Round one of btt
#2 Michigan verses #7 Wisconsin.
As usual Michigan playing down to its competitio. Trailed 2-1 after one.
Michigan was up 4-3 after two. Porous defense and Wisconsin is up
5-4 under two minutes left and Michigan scored after pulling goalie.
Wisconsin challenge the guy coming on and our goalie coming off and the linesman never called anything. But after a review they disallowed the tying goal. Radio Broadcast crew was Befuddled as it had no bearing on the goal. Guess we had 6 men on the ice for 10 seconds.
Frustrating. Any way Michigan had to pull goalie again and tied game with 15 seconds left.
5-5 heading to ot in game one of this best 2 out of 3.

Michigan 6 penalties to 3 for Wisconsin.

Both ND and Osu win at home to start the series foe their respective sides.
Penalties will kill time in the ncaa.

Michigan wins are hard fought game 7-4 tonight. Improves to 22-11-3 overall.

Freshman Luca Fantilli had a hat trick.

Michigan advances to second round of the Btt tournament after beating a gritty Wisconsin team. Michigan went up 4-1 by early seconds period. But under 2 minutes left Michigan scored to make it 5-4. With 1:30 ish left Michigan broadcast crew was wondering why Wisconsin hadn?t pulled its goalie and we stole the puck I think and made it 6-4. Then we got the empty netter to make the final score 7-4. Michigan wins series 2-0.
