UM vs MSU stats

I like the O'Korn wrinkle and think the O will install some new plays, based on his strengths. I like the BYE week and the fact that the game is in A2. I think the M Defense is far better than any State has seen so far and while they will have a play or two, I think the D will cause turnovers and set up short fields for the O.

Also ...DJP

The difference between this era and the past 10yrs is that we are now taking the Cass Tech, King and other Detroit powerhouse recruits. They were going to EL when we had RR and for most of Hoke.

These kids get the rivalry ...slot ninjas from middle Florida, not so much maybe.

Dp-j?

why the fuck wont my capital letters stay capital letters?

CAUSE NOBODY LIKES PEOPLE THAT TYPE IN ALL CAPS!

If your entire post is all caps, the site automatically changes to lowercase letters.

IT TOOK YOU THIS LONG TO FIGURE THAT OUT? NOT TOO QUICK, ARE YA?

Not for that reason, when typing just UM or MSU or DPJ, for that matter, will not stay capitalized. Vic did it in his post(DJP) and it stayed.

Ok so what the hell is going on? they stayed capitalized

If your whole post is ALL CAPS, then the forum changes all but the first letter of each sentence to lowercase.

If you just have some capitals in your post along with lowercase sentences elsewhere, the forum leaves it as-is.

To get back onto topic, I do have to say I'm a little surprised with how well MSU is playing this year. After last year's debacle, I thought they would have a rougher start. We'll see where both squads are at come tomorrow.

I'm not happy about this weather. I thought there was a fair chance our kicker would be the difference in the game. Also lessens the chance we can take advantage of their reported weakness at safety. All this rain and gusty wind, and both teams with strong run Ds...

Got it

I am surprised because they lost so many people to issues and what-not. Recruiting suffered, also. Mark the Dick is a good coach, ill give him that.

FWIW, it takes their passing game out of it as well. and - while this isn't a knock at our secondary, as they are very good - our strength on D is our front 7.

and it seemed like O'Korn did most of his damage against Purdue on TE crossing & drag routes. unless we're seeing hurricane-force winds, those throws should be feasible. it'll all depend on whether they can get a pass rush or not & we'll have time for those to develope. maybe at least this weekend we'll see some screens thrown in if the defense blitzes a lot
