UTL Marching Bands for UM and MSU

I read the RCMB at lunch to see what Spartan fans were saying about this game, since the spartan fans who post here have been largely silent about it.

they had a thread about the half time show and someone got in the zinger that after the Michigan band does the outline of Michigan, they'll form the outline of Long Island. haha.

most of their predictions were surprisingly reasonable. by and large though, they seem to be making a bigger deal out of the fact that O'Korn was a backup than is warranted. I'd imagine even if they didn't think he could beat Lewerke for their starting job, they would be really happy to have him as a backup, considering their overall lack of talent under center.

one guy pointed out how bad O'Korn was last year against IU, but was refuted by someone else who pointed out the awful passing numbers for other QB's around the midwest that day due to the weather. I wasn't even aware of that.

I think any concerns over O'Korn turning into a repeat of what happened when we had to turn to Bellomy a couple years ago are unfounded. unless the weather is really bad, but in that case, they'll be screwed as well.

And the Spartan band is going to form the outlines of our swimming pools and our lawn hedges.

So it will all balance out.

Purdue seals it against Minny with a late TD drive and then a pick six when Minny was in the Purdue red zone...
