Vontaze Burfict?

Huge character issues on and off the field. I read that he didn't show as much progression throughout his college career as expected. I think he'll slip a little.

Ray Lewis reached out to him, gave him advice. IMO, he'll fall into Baltimore's lap, and they'll groom him as Lewis' replacement.

Hopefully he falls right into the Lions lap. Character issues or not, this guy looks like a tackling machine. I read that he'd been in a fight with a teammate during a practice, is that really a character issue?

Levy is restricted, he's not going anywhere. Tulloch will get re-signed. Carpenter and Palmer are just backups.

I'm all about adding a dynamic player at the LB position, but I worry a little when I read that he hasn't developed much since his freshman year. But if the Lions give him a high grade and he's BPA at 23, I expect Mayhew to grab him. I just sorta expect someone else to have a higher grade.

Getting a stud LB will have people start raving about the front 7, not just the front 4. They need to figure out how to stop the run, and also how to run the damn ball themselves on O. Not opposed to keeping Levy, Palmer, and Carpenter as backups. We need to preserve depth.

All depends on Tulloch resigning or not in March. Levy and Palmer are restricted so they should be back.

Lions do need more penalties.
the players dont matter....when we make good plays the refs will just make shit up for whoever is playing the lions. Its part of our tradition.

Oh yeah I forgot. The ref used his psychic ability to make the ball get thrown at the defense from the Wr's hand.

Then secretly played music in suh's ears to make him dance on a players arm.

Ever see a wr get called for offensive pi 4 times in one game? Watch the lions.

Ever see a wr trip with no defender within 6 yards of him and defensive pi get called....watch the lions.

Lmao yes I am a redneck.

Wv isn't even in the south.

Now go rob, rape, murder someone

It was more a riff on Hughes sentence structure that spawned a thousand Jeff Foxworthy jokes, but I thought you might take it that I was referring to you and was totally okay with that.

Ever see a clean hit on a QB which routinely produces yellow hanky? Go watch Green Bay on offense.

Now, back to Burfict. Is there a better tackling/more explosive lb in the draft? Im all for the Lions nabbing this guy. My only question is where would he fit in? Does he have to play ILB, or could he move to the outside? Adding another beast to the Lions lb corps might be just what this defense needs imho.
