vs. Seton Hall

Not playing great, but that was a gutsy road win vs a very good team. Clutch shots from Hall, Watts, and Cash. Team has a ton of pieces. I doubt we ever see Tillman play as bad again.

In what world did we not get an extra 0.5 seconds there? It was clearly 41.5 seconds

Aside from that the guy would consistently take about a minute to add our 2-3 points to the scoreboard, strangely it seemed only after we scored.

The team became more of a work in progress with Langford going down again, and some other guys were going to have to step up quickly. It seems like it might be a team where it might be a different guy every night, but there are quite a few options. It'll be on Izzo to figure out each game who it's going to be, like with Hall tonight. I'm encouraged in that I expected Winston, Tillman, and Henry to have to carry a really big load, and none of them have been consistently very good yet. But the team is getting by regardless.

Mens basketball with a big road win over SH

Womens basketball with a big road win at Notre Dame

Mens hockey with a road win at Michigan

Much needed, huge night for MSU sports

Are there people that think msu is gonna win that game?

Those 2 basketball wins are big seeding wins so they matter quite a bit. The hockey, probably doesn't mean anything as both teams likely suck

31-7 Michigan is my prediction. If we lose hopefully it?s an absolute ass kicking. maybe going down in flames will get Dantonio to retire easier, but I?m wary of him doing so.

You end up getting tickets Mack?

Winston is playing. Their best player Myles Powell playing as well after a sprained ankle last weekend. I?ve followed the Hall at a distance the past decade or so (not sure why, maybe I felt bad for them getting screwed against UM in the 1989 title game and rooted for them as a result), interested to see what they will look like this year. They were a bubble team last year and got bounced by Wofford first round. But Powell is a stud for sure.

I did not - had to work with my son and his best friend to build 2 Pinewood Derby cars for tonight's race which took longer than I thought. By the time I could get there the first half would have been over plus my son (4th grader) is too young for an 8:30 start time so I would have been flying solo. But it would have been fun - SH is kinda local for us and I have a niece on my wife's side who ran cross country there and is now an alum (she was just a little kid when I first met her) so I've payed a little closer attention to them lately as well.

Edit: I had Michigan winning it all that year in my first ever bracket pool (not a popular selection since that was my freshman year at MSU) but I won it and I was early on UNLV because of Anderson Hunt and had them winning it all the next year - at 2 for 2 I thought bracket pools were the easiest money in the world.

As for Dantonio, I think we need a transition plan that will give us time to get it right. Maybe announcing his retirement before the end of the year is enough (not that I think that will happen) but the last thing I think we need is to rush this decision.
