Michigan did not take advantage of the fact that OSU was not playing their best. They missed a lot of open looks, and played some pretty dumb basketball at times. There was a stretch where it felt like Michigan did not score for 7-10 minutes, but neither did OSU.

Michigan got destroyed by a ****ing no-body (Lenzelle Smith, garbage), and got absolutely worked on the offensive boards. That's a frustrating loss.

You mesan O$U great length according to the announcers. **** O$U was over the back 60-70% of the time..

I'm not going to blame the loss on officials. They deserved to win. But, Michigan should have been able to keep this close at the end. OSU did not play a good game.

OSU is just a better team. 4 out of the 5 starters are better than anything UM runs out there.

Burke was fouled so many times it was not funny... Game would have been a lot tighter if he was not getting mugged every time down the floor.

If there's a gripe I have with anything, it's the fact that they are convinced Aaron Craft is actually a good on the ball defender, when in reality, he gets away with SO MANY cheapies that I have seen called on any other player on a regular basis.

it was unlikely we were going to win today in the first place, so I don't really think a loss is a big deal.

taking the homer glasses off, if you just look at it as a #22 team @ #5 team with a 37 game home winning streak or whatever, you probably wouldn't think #22 would have much of a shot.

at least we kept it close for most of the afternoon.

next up, a chance to beat IU at home. gotta win that one. not expecting much @MSU, but hopefully we can get another road win @ Nebraska.

yep, the game went exactly as I expected. Dubbs, you can complain about Michigan's poor play or not taking advantage, but even if Michigan played perfectly, the refs would've made it so that Ohio won. You know it. Hell! They didn't even need help from the refs today and they still got it.

I just remember telling myself in the last 10 minutes of the game, when Michigan was down somewhere between 8-10, and OSU could not hit a shot to save their life, "Wow, Michigan would climb right back in this game if they just executed their damn offense." Would they have won? Probably not, but they had a chance to make it interesting.

I know what you mean. There were a few times Michigan had wide open threes that just barely rimmed out. Shots that would have pulled us within 4 pts or later on to make it a 5-7 pt game and be within reach. Too bad they couldn't knock down a few more shots or get better looks, would have made it interesting.

Plus stu and trey had a few really bad turnovers where they ran to the out-of-bounds line and then either threw it to no one or stepped on the outline. I counted at least 5 combined. You can't do shit like that when you're already behind the 8ball.

I think teams are picking up on that tendency.

That seems to be the new Stu move. Drive baseline, and make it so you have next to 0 room to make a play.
