Whatever scheme the defense has been playing. ...they can't execute it. No pressure, missed tackles, blown coverages. We turned sanchize and weeden into starting qbs by week 2 of the preseason lmao.

They fucked up for one game. Doesn't mean they can't execute going forward. Many of the starters were out when Sanchez got it going too (Quin, Delmas, Tulloch, Houston, Levy). So get your facts straight.

Forever labeling them as not being able to execute because of 2 pre season games is beyond dumb. I realize you just want to hate to hate, but it makes you dumb.

Im not judging based on 1 game. im judging based on the last 15 years where we cant cover anyone and weve done nothing to address it. The linebackers are awful in coverage...levy has been his entire career not to mention he cant tackle worth shit. The secondary I thought was upgraded....but Schwartz has been to dumb to give slay first team reps and delmas is still dealing with his swollen knee that's been swollen for 3 years. The other safety spot is shaky at best and might be handed to mathis....a middle age has been. Palmer has been so bad his spot might be handed to McIntosh....another middle aged has been.

Sooooo were right back to the same deal as last year.....our dline either gets their shit straight and starts causing bad things to happen. Or we make the worst qbs in the league look like peyton manning. So far this year its been the latter....not just 1 game....both games.

The Lions ONLY chance to be effective on D is for the front 4 to play lights out. The LBs and secondary are below average IMO. On offense...they better have some sort of running game to compliment the passing game. I can see Bush catching 65-75 balls which will pad Staffords passing stats but I'm not sure how effective he will be running the ball.

15 years. LMFAO. You are letting Millen era into this. It has nothing to do with the current crop of players. Tulloch, Levy and Palmer have the talent to be good tackleres.

Houston,Quin,Slay, Delmas, Bentley, Mathis can cover in this league.

Mayhew was under millen and obviously learned his ways hence drafting high round WRs and RBs every year with little to no production as a result.

Mayhew was under millen and obviously learned his ways hence drafting high round WRs and RBs every year with little to no production as a result.

Mayhew has built up the talent immensely on this roster. Broyles and LeShoure did produce some and will produce more. Best produced alot and had to be game planned for but got unlucky with the career ender after 20+ games. Titus produced as a rookie. Talent identification is not the issue. Very bad luck with injuries is the issues for the 2nd round. 1st round has been beyond great, great free agencies, great trades. Mayhew will be GM of the year very soon.

It wasn't a poor choice in 2010. It was a great choice. This team needed a RB playmaker and got one. Ernie Sims had a million concussions in college and never one in the pros. Worth the risk and good talent. Mayhew did well with the Best pick. It's bullshit he got hurt after 20+ games played. He played a whole damn season with no head issues.

You can't think of any great trades. Do you even follow the team. 2010 ring a bell? Houston, Sims, Scheffler for Ernie Sims, Shaun Hill, Corey Williams all brought in by trade. Free agents, Burleson, KVB(at the time), Tulloch, Quin, Bush. Mayhew will be GM of the year.
