It would be nice to see them publicly admit botching the whole situation, pointing out the good the team has going for it, and moving along swiftly instead of this prideful asshurt stance that they have taken. It just doesn't seem like a really good crop of FA's for what the team needs this offseason as well.

I really think it boils down to not having a back up plan for Suh. They really, really thought they were going to get him. It explains not drafting Donald, not optioning for Fairley, etc. I think they got caught with their pants around their ankles and now they're scrambling.

I'm still reserving judgement until post draft/free agency but this doesn't look good at all.

Since it takes at least 2 seasons to install a 3-4 properly, I don't see it happening. Mayhew would be fired before that came to fruition and he knows it.
