44 days. Chuck Heater, RB, 1971 - 1974. He missed a day of practice to get married in 1972. Bo was not amused. Graduated from the program as Michigan's 4th all-time in rushing yards. (Official records were initiated in 1949) Only Billy Taylor, Ron Johnson, and Ed Shuttlesworth were in front of him. Then Heater embarked in a long career as a college coach in assistant roles.
