Will THIS be fixed this year?

Well LKP, I want you to do me a huge project then. I want you to go look at every other team in the NFL, and review every turnover they had. I would guarantee that every team has had the exact same things happen to them, whether it be bad luck or great plays by defenders.

Agreed other QBs had some not their fault too but I can live with 12 ints a season from Stafford given all the other great stuff he does. That's all I am saying. There were 5 losses he didn't even throw a pick.

Only stat I care about which cannot be disputed.

6-3 first 9 games team playing decent.
1-6 last 7 games as the team imploded.

Anything short of the playoffs this year is a failure..

They've made moves to avoid the implosion again.

We'll see what happens.

well, since Stafford has been in the league he has averaged 1.2 INT's per start which equals 19 INT's per 16 game season. Not likely he only has 12 this season....well...maybe by week 10.

1.08 per start the last 3 years. So 17. And that's without proper QB coaching for him and him missing alot of weapons in 2012/2013 (mainly number 2 and 3 WR). And again that's 17 with all not all of them were his fault.

12 is very possible for the 2014 season with his new weapons and new coaching.

I would not think a playoff win would be likely this year unless they somehow manage to get a home playoff game.

I cannot see ONE place (against probable playoff teams) that they would be favorites.

GB - L
SF - L
SEA - L
ARI - L
PHI - L
N.O. - L
CAR - L
DAL - ok......they would have a good shot in Dallas
CHI - L.....not in December.....no way. (See 2013 @ Philly for cold weather reference)

12 is possible but not likely. 16,17,19 are his last 3 seasons. It is more likely that he is in that range than going down to 12.

You can't use coaches as any sort of guarantee that improvement will happen. There is no idea how they will mesh with this team.

I see a raise in turnovers from Stafford this year....atleast early. learning a new system from a brand new OC with a new cba that doesn't allow verterans much tim ein the offseason with new weapons hes not used to throwing to all while still having his same mechanical flaws and inability to maneuver in the pocket....sounds like a recipe for disaster to me.

Stafford has plenty of time with the new staff. Plus the upgrade in weapons is th e biggest thing. That is just pure talent compared to Burleson for half the year, slow Pettigrew and Durham. Calvin should be healthier too.

Sounds like a recipe for success. Also there is a reason new coaching staffs get extra weeks with the players compared to staffs already in place.

The extra time cannot guarantee full assimilation of new O and D systems. You can expect growing pains anytime new systems are implemented.

Stafford is intelligent. This offense can do well early.

And 2012 14 picks were his fault, but another five were in wins. So 9 problem picks

and 9 times 2 is 18. divided by 6 is 3. just sayin....
