Now that conferences have these divisions I think it's a "crock" to automatically eliminate a team from a BCS bowl because they didn't play in ther conference championship game. Teams play different schedules against different opponents, so it's not as cut and dry as it was before. Habitually oversimplifying is what the lazy and/or ignorant do, which is what many associated with the BCS have become.

Now, if both teams have the same number of losses, then maybe the point is more valid. But MSU or Wisconsin is going to have 3 losses on the season.

What year was it when Notre Dame hosted Florida State in a #1 vs. #2 matchup and ND won, then lost the next week to BC? Both teams end the season with 1 loss, ND beats FSU, but FSU gets the National Championship because their loss was to a shit team and FSU's loss was to a top 5 team on the road.

This is from USA today's guru jeff Sagrin.. I looked last week and Wisconsin's Big ten schedule is the worst one one of the worst in the Big Ten.. Wisconsin should not have jumped us this week.

This whole BCS is a joke... Michigan has played a much tougher schedule then either Wisconsin or MSU. I have wanted a playoff since day one. Wisconsins non-conference schedule is even worse then MSU which is beyond bad..

I disagree Bob. UM had Nebraska, ND and OSU at home. MSU was their toughest away game and, you avoided the second best B1G team. We had Nebraska, OSU and ND away and played the second best B1G team ( at home ), soon to be twice. We played no one else besides ND out of conference and the only other to note for UM OOC is a 4th place 7-4 MWC win over SDSU at home. IMO, we had the tougher schedule.

Agree, the system does stink. It's only a matter of time before a B1G team gets screwed again by the BCS from a team from the SEC.

Wisky would beat Bama. Overall, they have a better team. They also beat a better PSU. Penn St. is much better now than they were the 1st game of the year on offense. My opinion.
