Wouldn't it be beautiful...

I never root for career ending injuries, or season ending injuries either.

Now game ending - that's ok.

Yes you destroyed the packers. What was the final, 7-3? No way rodgers could have came back from that. Ha impossible.

And rodgers is healthy now, I made a joke about that he would have to get hurt in the game for the lions to win.

And mitch gave an example of how the lions beat the packers last year, when he got hurt. To prove that the lions could beat the packers with a healthy rodgers. I don't know, I still don't quite understand it.

Oh. I thought the point was that the lions could win against the packers with a healthy rodgers. My bad

How is this ridiculous? The Lions D absolutely destroyed Rogers that day.. He only had enough time to check down and when he did try and go downfield he got lit up. The way the Packers oline played that day no QB in NFL history could have won that game.

Okay.. Maybe Tebow....

Yup no way in hell anyone could come back from being down 7-3. Talk about BEAT DOWN.

Jesus Christ himself couldn't come back from that.

He wasn't finishing that game regardless. If he didn't get hurt that play it would have been the next 5 step drop or the one after or the one after that.

Rodgers wasn't having a good day that day. I'm not saying he wouldn't have made some plays eventually but he got knocked out of the game with 3 minutes to go in the 1st half and he was 7-11 for 46 yards and 1 int. The previous 4 games prior to that Lions game he averaged 308 yards a game through the air. Even in the first game against the Lions earlier that year he only threw for 181 yards (12-17 that day with 3 td's and 2 int's).

If you can predict the future do you mind giving me advice on some bets..

We can only predict the fact. That the Lions and Stanton beat GB and Rodgers. Take it in slow. And how do you know the Packers would have came back against Detroit if he stayed in? He had a 34 rating. Lol.

he threw the ball 11 times. flynn threw it 26 times. but yeah you beat rodgers.

i still cant get over you bringing the game up lol. a game that rodgers gets hurt in to prove that you can win without rodgers getting hurt? lmao

Rogers was getting torn up in the game before getting injured...

1st drive-Packers fumbled 2 plays into the drive
2nd drive-3 and out
3rd drive-Rodgers INT
4th drive-3 and out
5th drive-Punt
6th drive-Punt and Injury occur

So.... What can we take out of this? Well... That the Lions were tearing up the Pack Offense WITH ROGERS, and then proceeded to knock him out of the game, and only give up 3 points.

Is it that hard to just admit the Pack got their asses handed to them that game?

I'll be the first to admit the same happened to us this year on Thanksgiving.

Is it that hard to admit that a game where rodgers gets hurt isn't a good example of winning a game without rodgers getting hurt? Lol

You continue to ignore the point being made.

Well that IS what happened. Take that for what it's worth.. A fact.

well obviously. i mean i dont see how rodgers could have came back after a bad half of football.

luckily him and the offense came out on fire in this years game. oh wait..
