Your Lions Offseason

whens the last time this staff coached anyone up? lol. its been failed attempt over failed attempt. spievey and levy come to mind with guys they think are THEIR guy and that fit their system....then they suck. Srsly name one guy on this team that has excelled and wasn't expected to....you cant do it.

Willie Young

Joique Bell

I think the best job this staff has done is Cherilus. Guy was an absolute joke his first two years.....he has become one of the best 6 or 7 RT in the NFL. They have done a GREAT job with him.

I don't want a WR anywhere near the top 3 rounds. Some combination of DE, LT, S, CB -- any three of those would work.

Like it or not, or like Tavon Austin or not, this offense still desperately needs another playmaker.

I'd be fine with Reggie Bush as a FA, too.

Fine get one during FA but I'm sick of WR picks drafted high. 2 years in a row is enough.

And Cherilus as one of the best 6-7 RT in the NFL? Lmao.

I don't even have to click on that link, Bleacher report - lmao. That site is all about guesses and one man's dumb opinion ..

Regardless what you find, I've seen the guy play. Top 6 or 7 is not in his description.

young and slh had a total contribution of nothing last year. Houston was a high round cb that has developed into a quality #2....awesome....not to mention....we didn't draft him. Bell doing better than leshoure doesn't mean he "excelled".....just means he was less shitty than leshoure. Our run game still sucked when he was in the backfield.

I mean, really? Even for a monumental hater such as yourself, describing Bell's year as "just means he was less shitty than Leshoure" is fucking loltastic! Sample size sucks but put his #'s up against anybody but AP and he's looking all pro worthy. Not saying he is, just you implying Bell wasn't super impressive during his body of work last year is :zzz::zzz:

I think some of you guys are just throwing the word All Pro around like it means nothing. First, Cherilus is near All Pro and now Bell, lol.

When youre sample size is that small numbers like average get severely skewed by a run of 64 yards. Do it consistently over the course of a season and I'll give him props. Our run game sucked for most of the year. There's no way to argue against it.

even if you take out his 64 yarder his average is still 4.3 on the season. the 52 catches on 68 targets for 28 first downs is super efficient. Bell was really good for us this past season. face it, you punted this one. no biggy, happens sometimes when you're a full blown contrarian and have to argue against every single point anybody makes without ever conceding.

Bell played pretty well, but a lot of his yards were in the 4th quarter against a prevent defense. So they allowed a first down rather than the big play.

But I did enjoy watching him play and think he at least deserves a roster spot.
