Wasn't there a similar fumble earlier...

I understand, my friend, I was just expounding on my point about consistency and logic.

Wasn't there a similar fumble earlier...

You're more likely to see the end zone rule changed versus the NFL deciding that any fumble out of bounds goes to the defense. Sums it up for me.

Wasn't there a similar fumble earlier...

Consistency and logic. If it doesn't change that's fine with me, but that doesn't mean it makes sense.

Wasn't there a similar fumble earlier...

Right, but that same team retains possession. The ball is being kicked to them. A kickoff and a fumble are two entirely different things...

Wasn't there a similar fumble earlier...

Why should the d get it? If you can make a logical argument I might be on board. I'm not opposed to change, but I haven't heard anything (yet) as to why your new rule would be a good one. As far as changing the fumble rule. I haven't asked for it to be changed. I've never thought it made...

Wasn't there a similar fumble earlier...

Because that doesn't really make sense which is the point...

Wasn't there a similar fumble earlier...

Because he needs to establish possession? The guy running has possessed the ball the entire time.
  8. elrod817

Wasn't there a similar fumble earlier...

Maybe because that's what happens on any other fumble? Nothing wrong with logical consistency...

Wasn't there a similar fumble earlier...

I have no idea how that's fair. Also things change...it's called progression...by that logic we never should have moved on from horse and carriages, shouldn't use electricity, or any other amenities that we've developed over the years, because well things had been like that "forever". Per Mike...

Wasn't there a similar fumble earlier...

No, because that's a fumble backwards...

Wasn't there a similar fumble earlier...

I don't follow Mitch...in any of your kick scenarios the team being kicked to keeps the ball. In this instance possession changes. Why should the defense get bailed out for not even recovering a fumble?

Okay, this is the ultimate test

We've had some gems over the years haven't we? I even had a poster on the old ESPN boards make me a t-shirt with those exact words on it with a picture of Rod at a press conference. Same poster even made a video that was a parody of a Wu-Tang song. Wish I could dig that up... I've always...

    Man Up

I actually really like this team a lot...don't know why, but I've got a good feeling. Lot's of vodka in my Honolulu Blue Kool-Aid: This is a 11-5, maybe 12-4 squad. Home playoff game with a win and maybe more. Stafford gets the road victory monkey off of his back and Teryl Austin gets a head...

Suh already topped in guaranteed money.

I've heard something to that effect before. He's always seemed very "Suh-oriented" so it wouldn't shock me...

If things go really wrong this year...

Ha! "With the 32nd pick in the first round of the 2016 draft the Detroit Lions select Stan Kwan, Special Teams Assistant Coach, New Orleans Saints."

Preseason Game 4: Bills @ Lions Thread

What in the wide world of sports is going on in here? z, I think you need a Snickers or something...I don't want to put words in my fellows posters fingers (which is what one says before he does just that), but I don't think anyone's rooting against Zenner. When they say they don't want him to...

So what you're saying is, jwlcosu's post accurately interpreted your comments?
