2014 head coach

Any chance we just throw gobs of money at Dick LeBeau? He's incredible as a defensive coach. Obviously he's super old and probably doesn't have much more time in him, but still hard to understand why we've never gotten him back into the organization after being so good for us as a player.

Cowher would be great too, but I can't see him coming back to coach in this organization. At that point, the rest of the retreads/retirees aren't ideal. I think it may work to go after a college coach with NFL experience. David Shaw has kept Stanford near the top after Harbaugh left, he coaches a smart defense, and knows how to get the ball moving on the ground. He also coached in the NFL already (WRs).
 
Schwartz is tainted, I don't see him staying here no matter what happens the rest of the season
