2016 Draft- Who ya got?

William Jackson III....DB....Houston.

He is my sleeper DB pick. That kid looked REALLY quick in drills and ran 4.37.

I really like the look of that kid.

Love that kid. I personally loved what i saw from Hargreaves.

Give me the top DB on the board. Quietly that's what has become the most important position in football outside of the QB.

Yes, I know you got to protect your QB and yes I know you need to pressure a QB. But this day an age with the scrambling QB's you need DB's who can stick with a receiver for an extended play.

Look at the top teams the past couple of seasons and what they had with their DB's.

Last years Super Bowl winner had Revis.
2yrs ago it was Sherman
Norman faced off against Peterson in the NFC title game this year.
Harris and Talib helped Denver this year win the Super Bowl beating Norman and Car.

We need DB help!

Best one of the bunch is a 5th rder. You don't necessarily have to target the "top CB". You can wait until the later rds.

I'm pretty sure Coleman and his 4.35 (my guess of what he'll run at his pro day) or Fuller and his 4.32 pose pretty decent deep threats.

Treadwell is a big target, not necessarily a deep threat.

Give me Coleman over Fuller in a heartbeat

To be fair.....you could probably do that with ANY draft slot.

That jerry rice guy was pretty good.

I'm a little late this year on calling it but here is our pick at 16 barring a value slide.

Dude is a freak....you don't see many 325 lb dudes that still look athletic. Only reason I would question a DT in rd 1 is there will be rd 1 quality guys still there in Rd 2 with how deep of a dline draft this is.

I like him but I'm the same way. I'd rather wait until round two to grab a DT. Deepest position in the draft. The Lions have had scouts on this guy since the senior bowl and have met with him formally twice. He is high high up on their radar. Won't get past the Skins at 21 who are letting Potroast walk.

Taylor Decker.

And for the record, Daniel Jeremiah (NFLN) doesn't even have this kid in the first 32. (mock draft)

Ahhhhhh..ok. I literally just watched about 2:30 of that video and came away unimpressed. He looked slow with no push and was weak. I need to watch the whole video but man, that was harsh lol

This is more of a "highlight" video on him. Hes definitely a late small school riser getting a late push from the so-called experts. There will definitely be the "you only played 1 decent school and you didn't fair very well talk. But as far as measurable go...you get a kid like that in the combine and hes 6'3'' 325 lbs and has feet...teams start to drool over potential. Im not high on a DT in the 1st rd this year....need a high impact guy at WR or DE imo.

Tony I have to disagree with your film evaluation, the guy was a disrupter in the middle of that line all game. You are not going to post a lot of highlight real plays from the nose but he was consistently collapsing the pocket and getting pressure. As for him flying under the radar...Both right on the money. He's risen into the top 20 on many boards only recently and is being compared by many to Mo Wilkerson. With the late rise, you have to at least consider the Lions were maybe originally scouting him as a day two pick rather than a day one. I still think he is in play for the Lions in the first round. Now Jeremiah has us taking MegaQuon and like I said on my original post if value falls you have to grab it. If we can go from CJ to Treadwell that certainly cushions the blow.
