2016 Draft- Who ya got?

I am changing my mind on who they will take, I think they are taking Vernon Butler.

I have in my mind underrated Clemson DEs ever since Da'Quan Bowers. For some reason though I like Dodd. He's nothing fancy but he collapses the pocket from the edge.

Played very good when he finally got the chance to start too. Does everything well...plays the run, gets pressure and gets sacks. He might be my guy now. Him and Ziggy??? Fagheddaboudit!

It would get me excited. They might like Devon Taylor's progression enough to look elsewhere though.

I've been telling my buddy who I talk football with everyday that Lawson wasn't even my favorite end on Clemson like 5 games before the CFB season ended... He just bigger and stronger than Lawson, and may not be quite and quick or twitchy as people say, but those guys are usually 3-4 rush LB anyway where as I think Dodd would hold up just fine in our system.

As much as I want a LT, I think we will go with defense in the first. I looked at New England's first round picks since 2000. Ten were on defense and only 5 were on offense. If Quinn stays true to that tendency, looks like we wait on O-line help.

Not that I disagree with the premise.....but the situations are completely different. NE has a HOF qb that took a d3 qb and turned him into one of the best WRs in the league. We have Stafford....that made calvin retire early.

You're an idiot. Stafford forced Calvin to retire early??? Stfu lol

Some scary bookends

lol. was partially sarcastic. But I think weve asked this question before....is calvin retired right now if hes playing with tom brady. I think most of us think the answer is no.

I think the more important question is if CJ thought we would compete for a title would he be retiring...I think the answer to that is NO

Everyone is certainly entitled to their opinion.....but I think you are wrong. CJ was going to hang them up this year regardless of record. Would he have liked a Super Bowl? Of course......but he's not playing anymore because the risks now outweigh the rewards.

Disagree. If this team was doing well, winning playoff games, etc... Calvin would be playing another 2, 3 years. This organization did the same thing to Barry. If he was playing on New England from the start of his career to now, I have strong confidence he'd be going well into his 30s.

That's what happens when you become a Lion. The organization saps the life out of you.

It's starting to look to me like Levy is a big question which is why we held I to Tuloch.

That's said... Ragland makes the most sense.

There is zero evidence that either ever had a problem with the organization. Both would have had the opportunity to leave had they wanted to. Both players easily had enough leverage to force a trade......especially CJ this year.

You can think that. You're entitled but its an impossible question to answer. He'd probably have a handful of rings, so what's he gotta prove?

I was thinking the same.
