The whole thing is dumb.
Even though it's wiki, they usually have it pretty accurate on these things.
The Decolonization of Africa.
Most of Africa was already decolonized either before Obama was born, or when he was a little kid; and ostensibly without violent revolution and such things.
So how can "anti-colonialism" be a threat in a non-colonial era?
From any perspective, a lot of passion over this is silly.
but... it might mean that he empathizes with people subjected to foreign rule, which means when he orders the air force to bomb them, and the CIA to zap them with drone strikes, he might not be as unabashedly enthusiastic about it as George W. was, which, of course, would be un-american. and being "un-american" is a serious consideration in these extremely dumb, idiotic days where political sloganeering carries far more weight than any sort of objective examination of the issues.
like... Obama's foreign policy record may be wholly indistinguishable from George W.'s, such that even Dick Cheney supported him in this regard... yet... Glenn Beck and Bill O'Reilly may level the "Un-american" charge at Obama, and we're screwed. Osama bin laden will rise from the dead, and bring sharia law to Main Street USA. WATCH OUT!
