We know that Diaz, Hernandez and Bucknor were not going to be on this umpire crew, but it baffled me from the start why Eddings, Barksdale (he was especially bad last night, but was one of the better HPUs in 2018) and Cederstrom are.

Now, I want the Nationals to win especially because it will be the first seven-game WS where the road team won all the games. There has already been at least two where the home team won all seven (1987 and 1991) with the Twins as the winning team both times.

Not sure what I want to happen. I want Jv to do ok. But then I really want max to do ok. But I guess I don’t really care as neither are Tigers.

JV has started 6 WS games and received a total of 7 runs in support. That is 1.9 run support. I don't care if your Cy Young, you aren't winning games with that run support.

4th worst era all time (minimum 5 starts)

Verlander in six World Series starts: 0-5, 5.73 ERA.
