I don't think it's a partisan thing; some other overwhelmingly blue state senators are not on there, notably CA's senators. McConnell is the most unpopular senator from a strong red state... square that one. so it's more than blind support for a party hack.

And whether or not other senators and congresspersons personally like Bernie... he obviously works well with them, given his legislative accomplishments, despite being a longtime independent. That's what really counts, right?

The top three include things like pushing progressive causes (not getting them passed, just saying he wants them), getting re-elected 8 times to the House by the socialists in the People?s Republic of Vermont, continuing to knock on doors After being elected mayor. In the 4th point they talk about a bunch of meaningless roll call bills and adding amendments to other bills from other people. they mentioned $100mm here, $300mm there added on over his career to bills from other people like its impactful - you know the federal govt spends $4.1T annually? Moron.

Do you post this garbage and hope people won?t actually read it or are you really impressed by this? You have to be a complete shithead to think that makes him one of the most accomplished members of Congress, which you are.

I?m not relying on Hillary for my opinion here - I?ve looked into Bernie Sanders? history going all the way back to before he was mayor of Burlington when you was just a dirty smelly hippy too lazy to get and keep a job - he was so lazy he got kicked out of a hippie commune because he was just a loudmouth freeloader. The guy is an unaccomplished loser (and a hypocrite) who manages to keep winning elections because there are other people in this country dumb enough to buy his nonsense. thankfully so far the majority of them seem to be concentrated in Vermont.

He might be more "with it" than Biden, but his long history of real estate and securities fraud, sexual indiscretions, paid abortions, hush money, etc. makes him just as "malleable" from the Establishment's standpoint. and he's delivered for them.
