2023 NFL Draft

https://www.espn.com/nfl/stats/team/_/view/defense/table/passing/sort/totalPointsPerGame/dir/asc

Why do the Bills win. Bills 2nd in PPG defense (even with tons of secondary injuries) might help that.

I think even Goff could win with 2nd PPG defense every year

NFL has been around a long time. The Quarterback ALWAYS gets the credit for W?s and L?s.

Joe Namath won the ?Guarantee? game 16-7 in Super Bowl III. When they talk about it?.do you EVER hear the Jets defense mentioned? Nope. All QB. It?s common knowledge.

Allen is a huge talent on a team that wins and he?s the QB. It doesn?t take a genius to know he?s going to get all the love for it.

Agree they do but it's beyond stupid to give him all the credit. He does deserve alot of it though.

Allen is a great talent but does allow some turnovers. If they lose enough, the narrative will eventually change.

I don't know who the Lions should draft in 2023, but I REALLY hope they draft this guy in 2024

CB out of Alabama...Kool-Aid McKinstry :lmao:

Playoff talk and draft talk with Rams pick

Jameson Williams opens the practice window. Practicing in the walkthrough today. Maybe could play by the Jaguars game

Hope so. My son and I targeted that game specifically because he might be playing in it.

Either way, due to the recent 3 game WINNING STREAK....even with a Loss on Thursday....it will be good to go to a game that has even a little meaning. Would be nice to see #9 out there in some capacity.

Jags, at Panthers, Bears, reeling Jets

Revenge against Vikings (who just got crushed) but then struggling Packers again but at Lambeau

Going to be interesting. If they can pull off a Buffalo win, we all should be very happy with the rebuild turn around, even if they miss the playoffs. That Vikings/Seattle/Dolphins losses will be good remembers to start better earlier in the year.

If that happens......I want to see the Lions draft a kid.....any kid.....with the last name Mann.

So for at least some of training camp....we can have Kool-Aid Mann pictures.

Lots of teams with 4 wins so Detroit who is 12th now could improve if they play status quo.

Losing games for a higher pick isn?t going to change culture in a locker room, winning will.

No it wont. We eventually get to a certain number of wins and then auto-back down. Status quo.

Could have 6 wins if our coaches weren't fucking Neanderthals. That didn't help culture much...

Rams lose again. 3-8. Unlikely to get Stafford back this year.

Top 3 pick coming.

Need Perkins to keep starting for the Rams.

Need Fields to come back and start for Chicago and get a couple wins.

Would suck to sit 1 pick behind Chicago watch them take will Anderson right infront of us.

Definitely need Chicago to win a couple games. I can?t see the Rams winning a game that Perkins starts. I can?t see Houston winning another game so I don?t think the Rams could catch them.

Also?..and this will not be a popular opinion?..the Lions should CONSIDER taking Bijon Robinson with their 1st rounder. I know that would freak a lot of you guys out, but the D?Andre Swift experiment needs to be done and Bijon is a difference maker.

Just saying?..THINK about it. Otherwise, a CB or LB

I just think in the current version of the NFL, a top RB really isn't necessary, or even a difference maker. Build a good defense and O-line and you can plug and play RBs.

Current teams with winning records. Most don't have a stud RB

Miami
Bills
Jets
Ravens
Bengals
Titans (Henry)
KC
Chargers
Eagles
Cowboys
Vikings (cook)
SF (CMC but only recently)
Seattle

may as well keep a lions tradition alive and draft a rb in the 2nd rd.
