What do I care what other players/teams are doing? I don't need to provide a scouting report or write an article for the USA Today.

Exactly, nobody is trying to force the advanced stats down anyone's throat, if you don't like them, ignore them.

But don't try to argue against their value, or you'll just end up looking stupid.

No idea why you feel the need to respond to my posts. I was cordial with my posts on this thread. Just stating that my preference is to form my opinion on players by watching the games. I really don't need a condescending @#$% coming at me every day on this forum.

This Detroit Sports Forum has alot of leeway, compared to where most all of us came from at espn. Even at an early arrival from espn to Monsters board, a few of the long time posters at espn that joined, soon decided to go elsewhere due to the profanity directed at the players, team at an early time at his board.

These kinds of profanity laced attacks at players etc. are not allowed any where in the Tigers blogosphere, check them out, and try to swear at players or the team at; motown, blessyouboys, tigstown, etc. it's not happening..

But I have felt all along it is ok at players and the team mainly because all here are passionate about our Tigers. It goes on other forums 'here' as well, but the Tigers board is my main concern.
Also, we are here regularly/daily....so angry profanity posts at other posters, well it just builds a simmering animosity, that comes out to easily.

I have a years long history with many of you here, and because of that, I don't want to hand out any infraction. I would rather give the poster(s) a chance to think about it, and then another chance. But there are Limits after all, for the good of the entire board.
Hopefully there is going to be an understanding of all this.....

I've haven't had a single issue with any other poster on this forum. You've had numerous confrontations with posters.

There are ways to disagree without being a douche about it.

I respect what you do here and what you did on the ESPN board. You dedicate a lot of time and energy every day to bring info to the Tiger fans here and it's greatly appreciated.

Then walk away. Don't respond or go to a new thread. And I'm not sure what you means by good ole boys? As its been pointed out, there is much leeway here, more than you'd get just about anywhere else.

We've all sports fanatics and sometimes opinions get heated. Just try and not let it go to the next level.
