The point is D2 and D3 players can play and do well and I gave examples. I don't know if Greenwood can do well but there isn't much difference between Lacey, Greenwood, Bentley and Smith and Green, meaning Greenwood could play especially with his size and speed advantage. Lacey and Smith have experience on their side. We don't know how well he would do but there is a chance now with Berry gone that Greenwood would play with the roster the way it is. My bet is the Lions make a move.

And my logical conclusion was not that he would come in and do awesome, just get playing time and grow as a player.

I never said he would be good from day 1. Just that he has a chance to play. Lacey,Bentley and Smith all have big faults too. Greenwoods is experience.

Multiple people can get beat on the same play. Smith is trailing on those plays but in reality he should be step for step, not trailing so far behind on deep ball. A corner that relies on his safeties to bail him out ALL THE TIME is not a good corner. I don't care if he jumps 3-4 routes year.
