Add your mock here..and ONLY your mock

I agree we should probably post final mocks in the final mock thread. Regardless....I like your mock. Matthews and Gilbert would be huge lifts for this team. Id be worried about DE depth in your scenario and would probably address DE in rd 3 over OLB or at the very least in rd 4 over a back up C (although I agree Stork in rd 4 would be good value we could probably wait until your 4b or 4c picks to get him). I like Murray as a back up qb in this league. Lewis I loved watching at MSU...just not sure what type of NFL player he will be.

I just get the feeling Gilbert will be gone if some team decides to go QB in Round 2. Maybe Vikings. Gilbert,Rhodes and Munnerlyn would be a nice CB trio for them with Chris Cook not panning out and Josh Robinson being terrible.

Round 1 Anthony Barr OLB/DE hybrid
Round 2 Donte Moncrief WR
Round 3 Jimmie Ward Safety
Round 4 AJ McCaron QB
Round 4 James Hurst OT
Round 4 Marcel Jensen TE
Round 6 Kicker
Round 7 Special teams player

I'm 100% ok with that mock. I'd be thrilled if Barr was there in round 1.

Also, I think McCaron coming from a pro style offense and also being part of a winning culture might be a good late round pick for some team.

i just changed it again with Detroit bringing back Dan ovlosky to compete with Moore for the #2 spot

no it didn't. you can pick a mid round pick to groom. Orlovsky is hot garabge and is fine as the #2 until the rookie gets up to speed. Drop moore.

Ideally, you have a seasoned backup that can take over if the starter goes down and a rookie / very young player that has potential to be a future starter. Stafford/Ovary-oski/Moore doesn't fit that formula.

I like it.....though I think someone will take a chance on Mrs. Webb before the 4th round.

Round 1: Justin Gilbert, CB
Round 2: Kareem Martin, DE
Round 3: Donte Moncrief (yes, he will be there, he's not going in the 2nd round), WR
Round 4: Caraun Ried, DT
Round 4: Logan Thomas, QB
Round 4: Bryan Stork, C
Round 6: Chris Boswell, K
Round 7: Max Bullough, ILB (Yes, he will be there, his problems have him falling off most boards)

And I would be overjoyed at that draft.

Moncrief is 6'2 ran a 4.40 (faster than Watkins), had great verticals and is young and productive. He just needs a little more muscle and he has number 1 potential IMO. Round 2 for sure.

Round 3 is where I have seen him projected repeatedly, and it's not because of his skill, it's because of the depth in this years draft at the position.

Round 3 is where I put him.

I've seen him Round 2 often. I like him as much as if not more than Benjamin, Matthews and Beckham.

And I would be very surprised indeed if he wasn't there in the early third round.

id /drool if that's how it worked out. you like logan Thomas there cause of his potential or cause you think he will be the best on the board at that time?

I like his potential, and like you pointed out earlier... it's six to five and pick 'em in that territory.

Unlike many posters on the board, I see QB as a dire need after signing Orlovski. That doesn't solidify the #2 spot... it just shows how far we had the reach to find a QB still breathing.

Yep downgrade for sure but cheap. I still want a Round 4 QB too. Backup QB is the one thing on the roster I really dislike now. I hate Moore.
